Screenwriter Final Fantasy VII Remake asks fans to stop demanding the death of characters
Scriptwriter Final Fantasy VII Remake Kazushige Nojima appealed to the public after receiving numerous messages with a request to kill certain characters in the new adventure of Square Enix. He asked the fans to stop such actions, saying that he did not want to make an account "private" or disconnect/block users to get rid of annoying people.
Before that, the audience constantly answered his tweets with a request to kill or forever remove some of the least beloved characters from a new plot, although the developer himself said that he would no longer discuss his projects on this platform, but would only share the details of his personal life.
Another important point – Nudzima has never stated that it works on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Despite the fact that for the team that created the first part of the new version, it is quite natural to continue working on sequels, many perceive it as a fact and still fall asleep the reports of what they want or do not want to see in the next game.
It is worth noting that, despite the fact that the public has its preferences, no one except the Square Enix team, which is responsible for the project, knows in which direction this story will develop in the near future. In other words, it is quite possible that they already know who will die/survive in their history and how it will affect the final of the saga.
Even if they listen to the opinion of the fans, a change in something will make them rethink the entire plot, and this is impossible so close to the release. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on February 29, 2024, and it is possible that it is already ready – given that several demo versions have already been shown at events and the international press.
The remake has already changed some key points of the main story of FF7, directing its characters and the Universe in a different direction than what we know by the original. Responsible for creating a new version also confirmed that new storylines will appear in it and classic scenes will be significantly changed, so it is difficult to make an idea of how it all ends.
